Panasonic Launched P31 Smartphone In India Panasonic has launched the P31 mid-range smartphone, which comes with a 5" display, comes with a quad-core processor and features gesture-based unlocking. The phone will be available from the second week of March, 2014, at a price of Rs 11,990. The P31 comes with a 5" FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. It has an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and full HD recording, and a VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity features in the phone include dual-SIM support, 3G network support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It comes with G-sensor, light and proximity sensor, and e-compass. The phone houses a 2,000mAh battery, which as per the company’s claims, gives up to 9 hours of talktime on 3G and up to 600hours of standby time.
